Love to roll tubes, and have had low success in finding any tube that sounds as good as the West German made Telefunken's I had stuffed in my BAT Vk 30. The Black Sables did the trick, and may actually sound better after 16 years of use. Very tight bottom end, full mid range and a very sweet high end. Excellent pre-amp tube.
