EH-6V6GT

The all-new 6V6GT EH combines a specially developed cathode coating, careful alignment of the grids and tri-alloy plate material to create a rugged, wonderful sounding 6V6 that performs flawlessly up to 475 volts. Perfect for high plate voltage amps like the Fender Deluxe Reverb. This tube is perfect for guitar amps - it can take the abuse.

    • We have used these for years. Always a great performer in terms of reliability, microphonics, and tone.

    • These were needed for my 1947 Crosley 148CR repair and are doing a fine job. I am optimistic that I will get several years of use from these.

    • I needed a pair of these to restrore my neighbor's tri-o-matic record player. They work and sound great with a full and rich tone.

    • the tubes sound great in a deluxe, a little warmer than the JJ's. Tube matching was spot on.

    • This is a very solid tube and the price is also very reasonable. The sound is pretty close to the JJ using a class A Fender Champ Silverface.

    • These tubes helped bring an old Hammond organ and tone cabinet back to life. Tube matching was great, and I've yet to have any issues with the set.

    • In my Hughes & Kettner Triamp Mark 3 the EH 6V6 is a really nice tube for my cleaner channels. I don't like them as much as the EL34 or the 6L6 for higher gain channels because they are emptier in the midrange, but they are full in the bottom end and have a crystal clear top end; not quite as much as the Tung-Sol 6v6 (which might be a good thing) but a lot clearer than the JJ 6v6. I like tubes that have a natural clarity and these do that.

    • Lucky for me I BROKE the center post off of the no-brand tube in a M*n*price 5w amp. Got this to replace and am very happy with the tone. It's so much better than the stock tube! I'll buy it again.

    • Replacing a older Soviet 6n6c tube the started crackling after 6 months. The EH 6V6GT has a nice warm, just slightly overdriven sound to it. Hope it lasts!
