If you have been waiting for an alternative choice for a 7591A, the wait is over. Measuring 3 1/8" high from the bottom of the base to the top of the envelope, the JJ 7591s is about the same size as the JJ GZ34 / 5AR4 and JJ 6V6. We like this tube for everything from HH Scott amplifiers to the few musical instrument amplifiers that use the 7591.

Have a quad of these in an old stereo amp. Compared to the original tubes and a quad of EH 7591s, very nice performance and sound at a reasonable price

These tubes are great! 1/4 the price of NOS 7591's, and have a nice warm sound. I repaired a Guild Maverick and it really brought it back to life!

After some hard testing in my lab, I'm can't believe how impressed I am with these tubes. I converted a Bogan CHB 100 from 7868s to 7591s. These sound better than the original 7868s, knock the socks off of the Electro-Harmonix 7868s. Amazing fidelity with these JJ's.
