I put a set of these in my Blues Jr replacing a set of Mullards. These JJ's sound much better and break up very nicely.

Tubes do exactly what I needed. Using on 2 Matchless clones, tubes decrease volume plenty. These amps don't like attenuators and these tubes fix the volume issue

I love these bc it's almost like a different tube! Honestly the dif in power in my Mesa F-30 isn't significant but the difference in tone is awesome! There's a rich chunky punchy upper low end and the overdrive is fat and smooth while it seems to pretty much tame the glassy highs of regular JJ el84's (which I love as well btw! :). Highly recommended!
