The Sovtek 5881WXT is one of the most widely used 6L6 variants available. It is the stock tube in Fender and Mesa amps. While not the most harmonically rich tube - it is very affordable and durable. If you use a lot of outboard effects this tube is for you. This tube is not the best selection for Jazz or clean guitar.
These tubes are probably the must rugged tubes I have ever used. Especially suitable in combo amps in close proximity to the speaker, they don't vibrate internally like other 6L6 style tubes!
