    • Nice to have a new, not just a NOS, 6SJ7 for my 1954 5C1 Champ-amp. A lot less mystery than with 5-70 year-old tubes with unknown histories

    • Compared to 5693, this 6SJ7 barely produces any hum. Almost a zero. I obviously feel Sovtek tubes are tank-like made. Only slight disadvantage of 6SJ7's sound lies in its more than enough tight articulation, which means a bit degrading a sense of full relaxation. I'll keep this Little Giant installed, unless I change the amp.
