If you have been looking for something to get you into tubes, but don't want to spend a lot doing it, then this your kit. You get everything needed to build a great sounding stereo amplifier including a very well written step-by-step assembly guide.

This is a Tube Amplifier Kit that is easy to build, sounds great and is just fun! The amp has a volume control so that it can be driven directly from a CD player, tuner, etc.

The kit comes complete with resistors, capacitors, tubes, connectors, circuit board and transformers for mounting on an included "bread board". Optionally the circuit board and transformers may be mounted on a chassis or in a cabinet.

This kit only comes with a 120V power transformer. There is no other power transformer available. To use this amp with 220 / 230 / 240V mains voltage requires using an appropriate external step down transformer, which is not provided with this kit.

Great for use with your iPod or other music player. Just connect the headphone out to the RCA inputs and you are rocking with tube audio. We will include a FREE 3.5mm to dual-RCA cable with each order.

Make sure to read some of the Kit Reviews from our customers.

    • The kits sound good and aren’t too difficult to build. Get some film 0.22 uf MKP capacitors like Solen fast caps and it will sound better than stock. The first kit I built in 2005 called for the volume potentiometer body to be grounded and it worked well. The kit I just built, from Tube Depot, called again for the volume potentiometer body to be grounded but this time it cut out the left channel. If you build one of these and have one channel really weak try discounting the volume pot ground lug. This was frustrating and I spent a lot of time figuring it out. Hope to save others from the same.

    • I had been wanting to build a stereo tube amp since all my guitar amps were tube. I happened upon this little amp, the price was right and it looked like a fairly easy build. Got the amp built and was blown away by the clarity, warmth of this amp. It's now married to my EV s 100 monitors and I use it with my recording computer. It's AWESOME!
