YJS: An adaptor to allow EL84s to replace 6L6 and EL34 tubes. Converts from Class AB to Class A operation. Drops power output by 50% to 70%. These reduce the plate and screen voltages by 100VDC - add extra current-limiting in the screen circuit - block the bias voltage and set-up a cathode-bias circuit - regardless of the bias configuration of the amplifier.
