The descendant to to the wildly acclaimed TU-879S, the new Elekit TU-8200R is now available. The renowned Elekit designer, Mr. Fujita, has gone back to the drawing board to design a superior tube amplifier kit. The TU-8200R has many enhancements that allow the builder to enjoy exquisite tube audio in just a few nights.
The TU-8200R ships with JJ 6L6GC power tubes, but also supports a wide range of other power tubes such as KT66, KT88, EL34, 6550 (and others) with no modifications and no need to re-bias. Simply swap power tubes and the newly developed "active automatic bias adjustment function" will adjust the bias to the optimal level for each tube. No need to match tubes or manually re-bias ever again.
For those who love headphone music, you are in for a treat. The TU-8200R has a built-in headphone jack that will deliver amazing tube audio to your favorite cans.
Some of the improvements include:
- Select from 3 types of amplifier modes (Ultra-linear, Triode, or Pentode) with a simple jumper change on the PCB.
- TU-8200R ships with a R-core power transformer that supports 4 different voltage environments 100V, 115V, 200V, and 230V. This kit is ready to be built and used in any part of the world with no problems.
- You can add an optional Elekit PS-3249 DAC to decode audio directly from your computer via USB.

Elekit TU-8200 is the best amp kit that you can buy on the market, I started building tube amplifiers since 1964, for the price, quality and design, there is no other kit that you can compare with, just buy it, well worth every penny, read other reviews too, I bought one from TubeDepot, one direct from Japan on my last visit.

What a fantastic experience. This amp is so well designed it practically falls together. If you are on the fence, just take the plunge. You won't regret it. The sound is fantastic, this thing can hang with amps twice or triple its price. Looking forward to many years of tube rolling in this puppy! I will certainly be getting the TU-8500 next.

Bought the TU-8200R after a very good experience with the Pre-Amp. Kit was very well designed and went together easily. First powered up with no issues and sounded pretty good. I replaced all tubes with Mullards and the power tubes with KT88's for some more punch. This was powering my Heresy IV's and the setup was to bright and did not have the lows I liked. I added a 4 Ch EQ and some hardware to send a signal to my powered sub. Could not be happier now!!! Setup sounds amazing!

This was my first DIY kit, and wow was I impressed. The instructions are extremely clear and detailed. It was very easy to follow, and if you Have basic soldering skills, you should have no problem. The sound was amazing. I’ll admit to upgrading some of the resistors and capacitors (hifi collective). In any case, highly recommended for the fun and the sound!
