Our cloth covered wire is a lacquered cotton braid and is an ideal wire for use in vintage and new guitar amp projects. This wire is also perfect for radio restorations and new projects where a classic look is desired. The cotton braid is woven over PVC insulated wire rated at 600 volts and 105 degrees that conforms to UL-1015.
Unlike standard Push-Back wire sold by other suppliers, our cloth covered wire has the lacquered cotton braid actually bonded to the PVC insulator so the wire will stay clean looking and wont fray when stripped.

This is top quality wire! It has a rubber coating underneath the cloth for added protection. The material used for the cloth covering is very durable and looks cool too!

I got a good long spool of this stuff since the price was right! Yes it is much easier to strip this cloth covered wire than the old vintage stuff. Very happy with the product and will order it again in the future.
