The design employs high-end Lundahl LL3733 transformers for exceptional audio quality and supports a wide range of power tubes, including KT88, KT90, KT120, KT150, and KT170.

The TU-8888 comes with high quality conductive polymer electrolytic capacitors and polypropylene film capacitors. Space is provided for using larger coupling capacitors as well.
