This Amphenol professional series 1/4" plug is the very best. And once you hold this in your hands you will see why. The entire assembly is truly amazing. Its machined, all metal construction insures trouble free operation in any environment. The tip is a single, solid piece nearly impossible to break. Heavily nickel plated, the tip and sleeve contacts accept solder with ease. Not to be out done, the ingenious internal cable clamp holds the cable in such a way that no amount of pulling on the cord will break the internal connections. Your signal is dependent on a working cable and with this connector installed, it is one less link to ever worry about.
My customers actually hear a difference when I make a guitar cable with the amphenol jack and mogami instrument cable. These jacks are great to work with and look great when they are installed. Check out the Youtube video by TubeDepot on the "Worlds Greatest Guitar Cord"

Built to last & perform! The inner plastic clamp is SUPER tight with techflex sleeving installed. I have to wiggle & twist the outer metal shell when fitting over the clamp, which sometimes shaves a tiny amount of the clamp away (function not affected). Just requires a bit of muscle, and represents how strong & solid it is! I am a fan :)

These connectors have a very high quality feel to them and are way better than what you normally get on even high priced cables from the store. 5/5!

Now thats a plug!!!! After extracting a broken tip from a Chinese guitar cable from my powered mixer, I decided that I needed a better quality cable. These handsome plugs outweigh there price with quality. All cables I make have these or the right angle plugs.

These plugs are the real deal. They are the highest quality I have ever seen in my 58 years and they will last a lifetime.
