Mullard EL37 / CV586
Being a substitute for the 6L6GC and its variants, The Mullard EL37 / CV586 is a very rare tube with excellent tone and durability. We have identical tubes with black bases, dual getter rings and black plates in the original boxes. Some tubes may come in white military CV586 boxes.

Great sounding tube. A bit different than a KT66 or 6L6. They are a little warmer in the mids. KT66's are more "HiFi" by comparison. These have a bit more character that you can sink into. I had a set of these 25 years ago and traded them. Now I'm happy that I bought a set to replace them as they confirm everything that I liked about them back then.
