This tube draws a bit more plate current than older stock. Two different amplifiers B+ dropped significantly when installed. Would not recommend.

You can get 7-9w out of a pair of these in push-pull. The triode sections are used for gain stage and phase inverter, meaning you can get a complete guitar power amp with just two tubes. The sound is very good - bias the pentodes at around 25ma/300v plate/200v screen for max output.
