I bought a set of these to replace a pair of 6V6s in my Triamp Mark 3. I didn't like them all that much. That being said, I love JJ tubes. I have owned the EL34, E34L, 6CA7, 6L6GC and I like them all. But in my particular amp they were a bit over the top in the lower midrange. They are pretty loud and beefy for a small bottle tube. I just didn't find them as pleasing as the other tubes I use for cleaner tones.
