The Philips, Holland made, ECC83 / 12AX7 is one of the greats in the NOS world. Many audiophiles and musicians prefer these to NOS Mullard 12AX7. Having lush tone and liquid highs, this tube is very desirable for Hi-Fi and Musical Instrument amplification. These tubes have the dimpled getter and bear the triangle date code showing they were made in the 1970's in Heerlan, Netherlands. Some may be branded Amperex, Mullard or Hammond.
