This is the one that started the power tube wars in 1954. When you think of a 6550, the Tung-Sol 6550 is the vacuum tube that comes to mind. These are the exceptionally rare First Generation with solid black plates and D getters on the top only - no side getters. Many audiophiles consider these to be the pinnacle of the 6550 world. We have a few pairs available in original boxes.
