YJ20: An adaptor to allow EL84s to replace 6V6s in amps that are not electronically compatible with EL84s. This is our second best selling model. Converts from Class AB to Class A operation. Output remains about the same. They add extra current-limiting in the screen circuit - block the bias voltage and set-up a cathode-bias circuit - regardless of the bias configuration of the amplifier.
